Contractors GL - Guidelines
- Any contractor subcontracting more than 25% of their work is ineligible.
- All subcontractors must carry liability limits equal to or higher than those of our Insured's policy limits and must include our insured on their policy as an additional Insured, with a Hold-Harmless clause in favor of our Insured. Certificates of Insurance must be obtain by the Insured and kept on file with the Insured. ANY RISK USING UNINSURED SUBCONTRACTORS IS PROHIBITED.
- Contractors involved in the construction of new residential property are prohibited.
- Endorsement GSC-ART-006 Exclusion Prior completed work must be applied on all risks.
- Job safeguards such as trenches, barricades, fencing, traffic detouring, warning signs, etc must be in place for all risks where there is a public safety or trespassing exposure.
- Risks performing work on landfills , bridges or dams are prohibited.
- Additional Insured Notes enhanced to allow for above.
